Application Timeline for Summer Fellowships

Step One:

November – December: All students interested in applying for HRP’s Summer Internship Program MUST meet with Emily Keehn, Associate Director of the Academic Program.

After meeting with the Associate Director, students should look for host human rights organizations, and contact organizations in which they are interested, in order to explore whether there is a fit between their interests and skills and the organization’s needs.

Step Two:

December – January: Apply to host human rights organizations. Notify the Associate Director of which organization(s) you are contacting. Students must also meet with the Associate Director to discuss their proposals before they submit a fellowship application.

Step Three:

February: DEADLINE to submit ONLINE applications to HRP is February 1, 2019. The application can be found here. For the 2019 year, applications will only be accepted online. (Please note that the application may not load in Google Chrome; please try a different browser for better results).

Please note that you may be called in for an interview, or contacted for additional information.
