Program Manager, Justice Project Pakistan
Zainab Qureshi is a program manager at the Justice Project Pakistan, where she provides legal assistance to victims of police torture, mentally ill prisoners and those on death row. She currently divides her time between Lahore and the Hague advocating with the United Nations and the European Union on issues of police torture, arbitrary and summary executions and access to justice in Pakistan.
After graduating from Harvard Law School, Zainab worked as a litigator in Lahore, Pakistan representing victims of domestic violence, sexual assault and forced marriage. She also worked on advocacy and legislative reform on issues of maternal mortality and access to safe abortion.
