From the U.S. to the U.K., from Poland to the Philippines, the term populism has been evoked to describe the prevailing political atmosphere today. Building on such examples, Professor Gerald Neuman and Professor Michael Stein will examine the concept of populism, and explore its implications for both national compliance with human rights and international cooperation to protect human rights. Organized by the International Law Journal. Lunch will be served.
