Please join Unbound: Harvard Journal of the Legal Left for a half-day event exploring fundamental critiques of punishment. The day begins with an introduction by Duncan Kennedy, followed by the first panel, “The History and Future of American Punishment.” Panelists include Fernando Delgado, of Harvard; Robin Steinberg, of the Bronx Defenders; Marie Gottschalk, of the University of Pennsylvania; David Harris, of Harvard; and Kaia Stern, of Harvard. After lunch, the second panel, “The Philosophy of American Punishment,” will feature Youngjae Lee, of Fordham; Erin Kelly, of Tufts; Ben Levin of Harvard; and John Goldberg, of Harvard.
