Cosponsored by the HLS Human Rights Program (HRP), the Harvard International Law Journal will hold its 2023 Symposium under the theme “Reassessing Enforcement: Strengthening Compliance with International Law” in Milstein East at the Wasserstein, Caspersen Student Center, Clinical Wing building (WCC) of Harvard Law School on March 24th.

Yuji Iwasawa, Judge at the International Court of Justice, will hold the Smith keynote lecture. HRP Director Gerald L. Neuman will provide the opening remarks, while HRP Visiting Fellow Benyam Dawit Mezmur will join the panel “Human Rights Compliance Mechanisms: Assessment from Practice”.
