Please join the FXB Center for Health and Human Rights for a talk by Winfred Lichuma, EBS Chairperson of the National Gender and Equality Commission, Kenya. Lichuma began her career as a Magistrate of the High Court of Kenya, a position she held for 10 years, and rising to the rank of Senior Resident Magistrate. She chaired the pivotal Public Inquiry which looked into Sexual and Reproductive Health Rights violations in Kenya. The report that grew out of the inquiry, dubbed “Realising Sexual and Reproductive Health Rights in Kenya: A myth or reality,” spurred significant change. This event is being co-sponsored by the Human Rights Program and the GHP Department.
