Join us in welcoming Dr. Marko Bošnjak, President of the European Court of Human Rights, to campus on Monday, March 10th. President Bošnjak’s lecture will focus on the role of courts – particularly the European Court of Human Rights – in addressing democratic backsliding, especially the deterioration of the rule of law. President Bošnjak will examine the European Court’s role in protecting domestic judiciaries from attacks they frequently face. The event is organized by the Harvard European Law Association and the Harvard Human Rights Journal, and co-sponsored by the Minda de Gunzburg Center for European Studies and the Harvard Law School Human Rights Program.
