Please join us for a discussion with Visiting Fellow Ian Park, a barrister and serving officer in the United Kingdom Royal Navy. Called to the bar of England and Wales in 2003, over the past decade he has specialized in international law and deployed worldwide in support of the Royal Navy’s contribution to defence. He has acted as a legal advisor on NATO operations, at the ISAF Joint Command in Kabul, Afghanistan and in the Middle East. Park’s research at HLS focuses on the right to life in military operations.
